Style Analysis: The New Sporty

 A trendy style I've been noticing in magazines and on the street is a new kind of sporty. In the past, a sporty style type was characterized by polos, neons, shorts, cool tennis shoes, and pony tails. Now it has shifted into a more contrasting colors scheme with the addition of jerseys and jeans. The colors for the new sporty still includes neons but it is more centered around graphic blacks and whites. Layering is a key to this look as much as athletic fabrics usually used in uniforms. My friend Baby-Poppa  (More nicknames....) is a perfect example of this style with her contrasting b&w Adidas shirt, black jeans, white Nike Airs, and colorful nails- she's a cool cat.
