Travel to where?

I consider this a 'traveling' outfit. I've read in lots of books where they suggest wearing glamorous clothes like all black, and cashmere, and sunglasses, yada yada, and that's fine. I really liked that ultra glam 'jet set' aesthetic when I first got into fashion and style, but now I'm into more casual stuff that works for my kind of travel. My family doesn't usually take planes, so we drive. I like driving (remember my car post?) I can take photos on the ride, journal, listen to music, and sleep without people looking at me the way it might be on a plane. I would wear something with lots of layers. I would need pretty substantial shoes, and a hat because weather is evil (You will learn this if you live in the midwest.) And always a notebook. This is my biggest (Don't quote me on that) piece of advice: Always have a notebook on hand. Document EVERYTHING that you want to, I can't even let you know how good just getting something, anything down in a journal is. Reading it later is even better/worse.
Oh how I do want to travel now.
