Style Analysis: French Hipster

The French Hipster look is one that has been appearing more and more lately in place's like Express's new season, Elizabeth Olsen, and some of Lorde's looks. It's classic looking and not super abstract, but is anything but mainstream and basic. Its got stark colors like black, gray, white, with touches of burgundy, rose gold, navy, and forest green. It's a mixture of masculine, feminine, and it includes makeup trends with either rimmed smokey eyes or dark saturated lips. Layering is key and it's mainly centered around the confident 'say what you will I don't care' attitude that usually goes with it.
