This Style Analysis is based on my bestie Katherine, who once described her personal style to me as classically girly. It's feminine, but not too much. Just remember that girly style isn't all about pink, or glitter, or stereotypical 'girl' things. It's mainly based on the accentuated femininity of the 50s. Here are some of the things Katherine rocks on a steady basis.
Skirts- especially full 50's style ones. Skirts aren't required in feminine styles, but skirts can actually be seriously fun.
Good shoes- High heels are pretty cool I think, but I'm not super good at walking in them. A sensible pair of fun flats in different colors are a bit easier to work with, unless you are willing to go the extra mile (on stilts.)
A good jacket- something cute and structured like a blazer, or sweet like a cardigan. The cool thing about this style is the wide variety of bright colors it can go with. It's not specifically natural looking colors like minimalism, or muted brights like boho. It can be electric with yellows, greens blues, or sweet pastels, or classic blacks, whites, and reds.
