A not long but actually really long trip

These are some of the pictures I got of the ride from our house down to Detroit. I was messing around with the settings, and focuses, and all that fun camera stuff this weekend so I got a couple more cool ones. I love the sunsets in Michigan, and I've always loved the look of lights against a dark night (you will see my Pinterest aesthetic boards littered with neon lights at midnight) It was fun to figure out making something like that. Recently I read the 'Make Good Art' speech by Neil Gaiman- the book version designed and edited by the King of Graphic Design, Chip Kid. Seriously, two insanely talented people who made really good art together. Brings a non-sarcastic tear to my eye. It was really inspiring- it says that even if you don't get famous, even if it is little and insignificant, you should try to make it good. Make it good by your own standards and make it to fill the need of creativity you have.
Make good art, readers.
