January 18

Old Navy shirt, Converse button up, I don't know where I got that hat...
I did something completely different with today's outfit picture (aren't those called OOTDs now or something?) 1. It's in black and white 2. I'm wearing a hat 3. The only makeup is my eyebrows- I will always have good eyebrows. As I type this Bean is looking over my shoulder reading every word I type. She's cute- she's getting really good at reading. She's in kindergarten- I get to volunteer in her classroom on Wednesday's because I ride the bus. She and her little friends crack me up. It was during arts and crafts time and they were all cutting paper when this little boy started swinging his scissors around. I told him not to, warning that he would poke someone's eye out. The little girl next to him told him that she didn't want her eye poked out so he had better stop or else. I told them"I had my eye poked with a pair of scissors when I was your age" They loved my story (Which is a true one) In kindergarten or first grade during recess (it was inside because it was raining) I was running around, being the obnoxious yet cute little child I was, and a kid in front of me was waving his scissors around and got me right in the left eye. I made a bigger deal out of it then it was, he just nicked my eyelid and it didn't bleed that much but I thought it was the end of the world. I had an eye patch that I had gotten from the pirate ride at Disney World and I insisted on wearing it everywhere.
That's kind of how it is with me. I'm a very clumsy person and I can't really move without it being awkward (a friend and I were just saying 'put awkwardly in front of any verb, and it works. It's me') But when I do hurt myself, it's not that bad. It's bad enough to be a pain in the butt, but not enough to warrant anything special. I may get hit by a car and damage my knee, but I don't need crutches and have to go to school. I may break my toe, but there is no such thing as a toe cast. I may get stabbed with scissors, but there isn't even a scar. I'm pretty grateful for that, I guess. I still kind of wish I had a scar though, that would be super cool. I would look just like an evil villain.
Stay safe, readers.
