Parties are cool- actually I don't know, are they cool? This title isn't from experience...

I go to parties. It's not like I'm totally anti-social. I just prefer a small event with close friends. I like the idea of big parties- but that's just not the life for me. Still, Saint Laurent's spring/summer 2016 reminds me of party princesses (or prince, I liked menswear too) and it just seemed like all the models were just rolling into an event a little late but still looking awesome.
First of all, I like the jackets again. My particular favorites are the tie-dye and crocheted looking ones from men's and the silky gold ones for women. WOW, LIKE, GUYS. These JACKETS! You all know I love a good jacket, and these ones are especially cool- probably my favorites I've seen in a while. I like them when they are bold- I like to use them as the focal of an outfit- and the models look SUPER chill with their hands in the pockets of them.

The dresses- to some extent. Some of the dresses were a bit too revealing for my taste (modest is hottest, you know) but I still liked the silky, shimmery, metallic slips and dresses. They were in good contrast to the overly fancy tiaras, and what looks like rubber boots on bottom. I can't tell if I love or 'strongly dislike' (hate is a strong word friends.) the bowtie. It's cool because hey, I like menswear influenced clothes. At the same time it seems a little 2012 hipster- where bowties and mustaches were CRAZY popular. I dunno. I think I like it though.
Finally, I am going to do a mixture of two things here. First off- the flannel. Ooooh the flannel. I have had a  happy marriage to flannel all this year and a solid chunk of eighth grade too. How did I not realize that something so cozy could look so cool? And here it is! Justifying it's coolness! On the runway! (I'm not saying all things on the runway are cool, trust me) But still. Look at the frayed edges, the crumpled look, and the bleached parts. Wow. Now I can just say 'high fashion' or 'Saint Laurent' to the nay sayers.
Also- those little sock things are back!
 REMEMBER?
Hope your parties are gr8, readers.
