Inspired by red right now, if you can't tell. When I was younger I was OBSESSED with the color red. I wore it all the time, I wanted red lipstick really bad, and I wanted to die my hair crimson. Even now I whimper softly over my ginger friends lovely locks and red nail polish that I am not allowed to use. End of seventh grade- I was on the 'have your personal color palette' train and my colors were the ones seen above: red, black, white, and gray. Maybe I overwore it a bit, but now I am edgy about this combination. I wore it today as a post-Valentines day thing. I gotta admit- I love dressing seasonally. I get it from my mum, who really believes there is a difference between 'Christmas' decorations, 'Winter decorations, and 'Valentines' decorations. From the months December to March (St. Patricks day decor too) the themed wall art, heart shaped trays, christmas tree baskets, and snowflake vases are switched out constantly. I don't mind. She expresses herself through faux roses for Valentines Day, I express myself through color coordinated cardigans.
Love you, readers!
