November 2

Hello friends!
This week has been very eeeeeEEEEEhhhheehh. Meaning that it is weird, contradictory, boring, and exciting.
Marching band season is officially over this Friday; that means concert season begins. Concert season means chairing. For you non-band nerds, chairing is a test of all the instruments in a section to see who hast he most skill in order of best to not the best. I have always had bad luck in it. I've had so much bad luck I actually took the time to hit the underline button. In the five years that I have been playing flute, every time I chair it ends up taking a.
                                                                                     million.
                                                                                                        years.
I'm such a  nervous person that I panic and stress about it for days. The band teacher drags it out and I spend every day for x amount of time having a mini panic attack for no reason. I can't really calm down and I can't tell the teacher to move it a long either. sigh, what an impatient little wart I can be.
A few days ago I was at Goodwill with my mom, dad, and Bean. we're cruising through the racks of tweed blazers, turtlenecks, and polos' when i see this pair of shoes. This black pair of platform sandals with edged bottoms. They fit and I could walk in them so I 'trotted' over to  my mom and asked if I could get them. There was a bit of a disagreement over the 'frankenstein beach shoes' but I ended up getting them in the end. I feel great in these shoes. They sort of sum up everything I represent (or want to represent) with my personal style; classic, edgy, funny, functional, and memorable. These are one of my favorite things.
