Reaction to 'Who's a Good Boy pt. 1' (Welcome to Night Vale)

Okay, this may have spoilers. Please keep scrolling if you haven't listened yet.
Here is the thing about this new episode: You know 'Ghost Stories'? Night Vale's most recent live show? The one I went to? It was creepy. And really sad. And had less funny stuff, more feels stuff. And unnerving stuff. I wasn't sure about it; there had never been a show like it, and as much as I loved the experience of the live show, I was very unsure about the episode itself. Then, in the opening 2 minute thing that Joseph Fink has been doing (that keeps increasing in time; remember when he didn't do that? I'm not complaining...) he said that 'Ghost Stories' was his favorite show that they had done. He liked the creepy and bizarre feelings he inflicted on us. He enjoyed my discomfort. And apparently, they are back at it again with this new episode. Guys.
Guys. Guys.
It's horrifying. It is actually one of the scariest things. I love it, of course I love it, it's Night Vale, but...why. I miss the light-heartedness. I miss the humor. Maybe this will resolve itself? Maybe this will continue and I will have to tuck my fear inside?
Who knows.
The Good Boy knows.
Ugh, I'm still recovering from that episode- guys be warned. There may be more to come.

Got fancy new mirror-guys this mirror
Frieeeennddsss! How is life, my homies? My party people? My sheople?
I have survived another week of driving. That's right, driving. I'm driving, I'm attempting to be adult like while being distracted by radio, cars, and signs.
Billy is alive. After that whole Illinois trip- I was so concerned that he would die, even though I left him extra food, but apparently he is too stupid to die. I still want him around though. Stupid fish.
I got a new frame. It's very fancy looking- my mom wants me to paint it, but I kind of like it's mismatched trashiness. You know?
So that's news with me. Kind of lame, I'm pretty tired, so my mind is in fifty different places at once, including beside the mirror, in Billy's bowl, in a car, on the ground, at the computer, on the moon, etc.
You know.

Chicago

It was really warm and sunny- it was nice

THE BEAN

Also the bean- so many pigeons chill on top of it. The top is now covered in bird crap and no one can reach it to clean it.

Cool orangey building

Doodle doodle I want some noodles

Typography sketch I did saying 'Liberty, Equality, Fraternity'- the whole idea pushing the French Revolution. Still working through that in history class. There are too many people from that time period who, crazy as they might have been, were actually really interesting. Maximilien Robespierre, Marie-Antoinette, Charlotte Corday, Napoleon Bonaparte. All people who were people reacting to or starting or trying to stop a horrible situation. Most of the time people are really fascinated with historical events that include lots of death- World Wars, Civil War, French Revolution, etc. Why is that? Are we just drawn to the most attention calling points or are we really trying to learn so history doesn't repeat itself? I think it's chill that some parts of history aren't repeated. For example, it seems like the world has been in a bit of a new Age of Enlightenment with all the understanding, diversity, and knowledge that has been spread lately. Do we watch for that or for warning signs of danger?
Maybe more doodles based on it? Maybe. Maybe not.
Have a good week, guys!
