Okay, this may have spoilers. Please keep scrolling if you haven't listened yet.
Here is the thing about this new episode: You know 'Ghost Stories'? Night Vale's most recent live show? The one I went to? It was creepy. And really sad. And had less funny stuff, more feels stuff. And unnerving stuff. I wasn't sure about it; there had never been a show like it, and as much as I loved the experience of the live show, I was very unsure about the episode itself. Then, in the opening 2 minute thing that Joseph Fink has been doing (that keeps increasing in time; remember when he didn't do that? I'm not complaining...) he said that 'Ghost Stories' was his favorite show that they had done. He liked the creepy and bizarre feelings he inflicted on us. He enjoyed my discomfort. And apparently, they are back at it again with this new episode. Guys.
Guys. Guys.
It's horrifying. It is actually one of the scariest things. I love it, of course I love it, it's Night Vale, but...why. I miss the light-heartedness. I miss the humor. Maybe this will resolve itself? Maybe this will continue and I will have to tuck my fear inside?
Who knows.
The Good Boy knows.
Ugh, I'm still recovering from that episode- guys be warned. There may be more to come.
