This book. This book is the bridge. The bridge between the worlds of geekery (a special
intense geekery) and the crafting dimension. Dripping with pop-culture references for nearly every fandom and how-to's for them as well, this book is for what I call the maker-nerds. Those nerds who put every inch of their soul into their cosplay game, who spend time making a cardboard TARDIS, who paint their own personalized My Little Pony characters. Maker-nerds, this book is for you.
I wish I had found this blessed book in seventh grade- that was my intense 'crafting era'. That era was covered in yarn, glue, cardboard, craft paper, and glitter. I was essentially Mable from Gravity Falls.
Even if you don't craft, check out this book. It's got plenty of easy little things in it like making toddler Harry Potter costumes and iPhone elements cozies that will be the perfect gateway drug to full on needle felting, knitting, and collaging. You will see.
