Style Crush: Iris Apfel

I was cruising Netflix the other day when I stumbled on a new documentary called Iris. It looked cool, I was sick and bored, so I watched it. INSPIRATION! Iris Apfel has been in the world of design and fashion for a very long time. A stylist and interior designer she is currently in her nineties and known as 'the Rare Bird of Fashion' for her unique sense of style. She is so sassy and smart-I just want to steal her entire closet! At the beginning of the movie she was discussing with a fellow designer about how frustrating she finds some areas of fashion. The head-to-toe black trend (that sometimes I follow...) she says is strange-it's not style it's a uniform. She is such an inspiration- she really dresses for herself. She dresses in things that make her happy not others.
