We went to the beach today- I definitely got more sun today than I have all summer. It was fun- I usually stay out of the water, so this happened:
I was looking spiffy.
Anyway, the real story for today is what happened afterwards. We went out to Subway for lunch, and as much as I love Subway, here is my problem; I'm a picky eater. I'm not going to deny it. I like my food plain, comfortable, and familiar. I like to keep most other aspects of me interesting, and limiting my tastes to boring. So whenever I order a sandwich, or anything else custom made, I generally ask for a lack of anything unfamiliar, spicy, green, or new. Yeah, I'm horrible I know. The older I've gotten the less cute this has seemed to servers. So today at Subway this is how the conversation went between me and 'Sam I Am' (that's actually what his name tag said)
Me- I'd like the *insert random Subway sandwich here* please.
S.I.A- Any vegetables on that?
Me- Uh, no thanks. Not this time.
S.I.A- Are you sure?
Me- Yes, I'm sure.
S.I.A- That's all you want.
Me- (in my head) ASK ME IF THAT'S ALL ONE MORE TIME BUDDY, I DARE YA'
Me- (what I actually said) Yes that's all I want.
Either I'm going to have to widen my tastes *shivers because I am a wimp with a growing stomach* or the rest of the world is going to have to deal with me. I should start handing out cards.
Something like that.
Anyway.
Hope your sandwiches are good this week, readers.

Project Time Playlist
I've got summer project things that I do- little things, big things; just stuff in general to keep me from going insane when I am not provided work. I think I've already mentioned the comic series I am working on (it won't be done for a while so don't plan on seeing it anytime soon) As part of the preparation for any project, I always make lists for what I will need. In this case I had a list of characters, a list of supplies needed, a list of the plot ideas, a list of title names, a list of cover ideas, a list of colors, and a list of songs that set the mood. The mood. So here is a little sneak peak ( I don't know if you would call it that) of the series. This is as close as y'all will get to it for a while, it is TOP secret. Anyway:
1. Runaways (U&I)- Galantis
2. Electric Love- BORNES
3. Dreams Come True- Brandon Flowers
4. Don't Stop Believing- Journey
5. Sweet Caroline- Neil Diamond
6. I Love You Oddly- Rebecca Angel
7. Oblivion- Grimes
8. Somebody to Love- Queen
9. Rock Lobster- B-52's
10. Crocodile Rock- Elton John
11. Look Outside- Nat & Alex Wolff
12. Venus Fly- Grimes feat. Janelle Monae
(visual inspiration for project)

I watched the last few episodes of Phineas and Ferb last night.
It was not a good situation.
I've been watching Phineas and Ferb since it came out; I remember watching commercials on TV for the first episode premier. I remember getting a Perry the Platypus stuffed animal for my eighth or ninth birthday and crying. I remember the drawings (early fanart) me and Amazon would draw. I remember making Perry the Platypus hats (turquoise hat, foam ball cut in half, black paint, orangey felt for the bill) to get ready for the movie premier. It was a part of my childhood, and was my favorite TV. show up until we stopped getting cable TV.
So last night me and Amazon sat down to watch some Netflix to find what? That Phineas and Ferb was updated and... ended. We watched it, I freaked out more than her, I went to bed, listened to the soundtrack I had bought when I was ten, and wept. It was pretty satisfying. This post is a testament to one of my first fandoms. Yes, I was super creepy about it.
Dear Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh. It's been a good 8 years.

A trip to ye old ferris wheel
Our cart thing (what do you call them?) was pretty aesthetic |
Bean from aerial view |
I am actually afraid of heights |
If you can't tell |
The worst part was being stuck at the top |
That's just my luck |
It was cloudy but really hot. WHY MICHIGAN |
That's our cart thing with Bean and my dad in it. |
That's all. Thought I would share my embarrasingly horrified face.
That's it.
Meh, I'm going to sleep. Have a good day, guys!

Hey Hey Hey I'm back
I have returned from girls camp alive, with only a few bug bites, bruised knees, and longer hair (I don't know why it seems so much longer...) This year at camp was my last year as an official camper, next year I am going to be a YCL; a youth camp leader. This was the last year of entertainment being provided for me, next year I will have to provide it.
Now that it is summer and I have 'endless' time, I want to start more projects, read more books, make more things, etc. but then I remembered. What about all of the forgotten projects started doing the school year? The ones that seemed like a good idea at the time, and would probably work out if I worked on them, but I just don't want to work on them? I'm debating whether I should put a hold on my current projects, the ones I have ideas and inspiration for to continue these other ones that I don't care as much about, just so they can be done. It's a strong inner debate, fer shure (for sure)
Today is the Fourth of July, but that didn't stop the other random people of Michigan from lighting off mega fireworks on the first, second, and third of July. I'm all for showing how patriotic you are until it is 11 at night and I have slept in days.
Here is a playlist of life right now and how it looks/sounds:

1. Run Wild- Laney Jones
2. 1957- Milo Green
3. Electric Love- BORNES
4. Dreams come true- Brandon Flowers
5. Look Outside- Nat & Alex Wollf
6. Dawn (Go Away)- Franky Valli and the Four Seasons
7. Meet you at the Gate- Jayne Trimble
8. Swinging Party- Lorde
9. Dream a Little Dream of Me- The Mamas and the Papas
10. Small Town Moon- Regina Spektor
