Style Crush: Chloe Norgaard
Chloe Norgaard is an out of the ordinary model who has amazing rainbow hair and a fun spirit. I am seriously in love with the way she mixes prints patterns and colors. If only we could all pull mismatched clothing off like her!
Style= Rainbow Grunge
For the first time in forever
It's officially summer time.For the first time in forever I am actually aware of summer. For all the breaks that I've had up till now I have taken on the mindset of "I'm just gonna' rest this summer. Lazy summer.Heheheh. I'll go outside later, I've got three whole months!" I would say this literally up until the last week or so when I would start panicking that I didn't do anything. This summer? No. This summer will be excellent. Having finally having to start exams in school, I can appreciate break time. I can truly appreciate sleeping in.
I have freedom (a bike) and determination to actually do this year. I don't want to sit on the couch watching fifty episodes of Doctor Who. I want to go outside, bike, journal, paint, get a tan, plant flowers, and sell lemonade and so much more. In summer no one is really watching you that closely to judge the way it might be at school. A few times already I have panicked for a second only to realize "No... no I don't have any homework!" Why would I waste that offered time to do anything (within the law) that I want? I read this great book called 'Unbored' that has a little section in it called 'The Manifesto of Doing' or something like that. The article just sang the praises of how great it feels to actually get off your butt and start working on something. Being without a drivers license, I can't just drive myself to the mall when I'm bored, which means a lot of the time I need to make my own entertainment. There are so so so many things that can be done instead of wincing over over-priced books at Barnes and Noble. It's just a matter of starting.
And so, I have created a Summer Bucket List for myself. This is just some of it, there is A LOT on the master list. I do encourage my readers to get up. Get off the computer (As soon as you've had your fill of PRISM of course...) and do something!
