Art Goals: Pixel Art

I've been in a kind of retro/nostalgic mood lately and I was looking at some old games I used to play online and on my DS. I'm the kind of person who finds really weird things pretty and I was sort of 're-enchanted' with the graphics from these old games. I looked it up, and there are way cooler things you can make in that style too- I really want to try it out.
GHOST / DANCE: Photo: i draw pixel stuff: Search results for: animation - Do I Dare Disturb The Universe?8BIT styled Spirited Away Print. £25,00, via Etsy. (http://www.etsy.com/listing/104047119/8bit-styled-spirited-away-print):              It looks so simple to replicate, but it takes SO LONG in reality. Pixel by pixel for detail. It makes me really admire these more advanced ones.
Nostalgic GIFs of Everyday Life In Japan Animated by Yuuta ToyoiThis is an extraordinary piece of art. Whoever says pixel art isn't full of artistry hasn't seen this picture. :P| noirlac | when kevin wins, the planet loses! | : Photo:            Something to try out or be inspired by for summer projects? Mebbeh. (maybe) Mebbeh naw (maybe not)
Have a chill Monday.

Guys LOOK at these shoes my friend Sarah gave me! OH MY HEAVENS THEY ARE SO WEIRD I love them! She says a friend got them for her while at a thrift market- apparently they are from Japan. Amazon wants me to snip the babydolls off. I refuse. I don't know when I will ever wear them, but I like looking at them. I like the idea of wearing them.
It's the first official week of summer vacation! So far I haven't really done anything, just to be purposefully lazy in comparison to school, but this week I actually want to do something. Like wake up early again to post. Talk to you guys soon.
Have a great summer break!

That moment when you never blog

I'm sorry I've been gone for so long, guys. You didn't do anything to deserve that.
Anyway, I went to my super cool friend's birthday last night. She has this hipster lil' barn in her yard so we spent our time messing around, doing karaoke, watching Singing in the Rain, and taking pictures. Here are a few of those:
Projected on a sheet- I'm real mature

We were doing lifts

Katie's braid though

This is my favorite picture of all time

Two out of four looking cute isn't bad.
